After reading Dr Mercola this morning - Salt in Chickens article - I read
about Himalayan Salt which he's having a sale on.
Does anyone use/prefer Himalayan Salt over The Celtic SeaSalt?
I'm going to have to reorder SeaSalt soon and I'm wondering if I should switch..

Could you please post a link to that article? Also, I have seen himalayan sea salt and it is quite expensive, is it worth it?

I've never tried either, but I read that the Celtic has a stronger flavor, while the Himalayan is milder. I've always went the cheap route. I use Natural Value Iodized Sea Salt for the table and cooking, and the non-iodized for nasal rinse, mouthwash/gargle. It costs less than $1 for a 1lb. 10oz. container.

Yes, Kind2C, that's the article I read on Mercola. Thanks for posting it. I usually
buy the Celtic Seasalt from Home for $7.00 per 1lb bag who gives free shipping
for X amt of their products purchased. I've used it for so long I can't remember
when I first started using it. I just think it's a healthier choice.
I use quite a bit of salt and gave up using regular iodized table salt long ago.

Good article, plus there is a sub article on tyson chicken and antibiotics. I usually try to go for organic chicken and at krogers there was some chicken package that said natural (translation, the package said natural, no meaning of that word what so ever by law) and then it also said no antibiotics or growth hormones with an asterisk. The small print said " that have been proven to have an effect on humans"
