Lately after having sex I have noticed a burning/tingly feeling inside the shaft. I don't know what is causing it or how to make it go away. It's becoming more annoying as time goes on and its one of those things where you're thinking about it all the time (constant irritation). I also have noticed I don't have much sexual desire as I once did. After I ejaculate it seems like I have to wait at least 2 or 3 days for my penis to recouperate. Some things to note as well, I have (on and off for the past 9 months) had issues down in my groin area, I've had numbness and tingly feelings, trouble getting erections/weak erections, I have had a kidney stone, a cystoscopy done, and have seen a urologist in the past but haven't had any diagnosis. I just want to figure out what is going on down there.
Events that may be causing this:
-I have a cup of coffee every morning
-I work 8-5 and sit all day
-I have spondylolesthesis
-Ab workouts
-2009 I had a kidney stone
-2010 treated for prostatitis, took cipro...few months later took doxycycline
-I drank heavily for 2 months over last summer
-penis bent during sex a couple times
Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on what this could be?

Yeast infection, most likely from your partner, and made worse by taking the antibiotics.
The solution would be to take a good daily probiotic, as well as some natural antifungals such as coconut oil, cinnamon, grapefruit seed extract, colloidal silver, etc., for the both of you otherwise you will just keep infecting each other.
If nothing is done, expect prostate issues within the next few years..

I thought of that too, but I've been tested and so has she and neither of us had a yeast infection show up in our tests/cultures. Thank you for responding, I've been on many of these types of forums and never hear back from anyone, so thanks! Posted via mobile
Do you ride a bike much. Pedal bike that is. Have you had a catheter installed at any point. What do you mean exactly by recuperate. Is this in terms of the burning? What types of soaps are you using. Shampoo, body soap, ect. What type of condom do you use. Have you checked the ph of your urine. Does it burn mostly at the beginning of urination, or the whole time. Does your bladder feel full all the time? If you stopped ejaculating for say one week would it still burn? Can I ask your age. Any numbness anywhere else in your body? How much pain does your back give you? I read some where about marshmallow root is soothing for the urethra. I would recommend a good probotic as well. If I was having your problem I would discontinue use soap and see if that helps. Try and stop the coffee as well.
I still say yeast and I don't care what the test says. Doxycycline and cipro are notorious for causing it. Make your doc give you treatment anyway. Its not like its expensive or anything.

old post i know. but r u sure you still dont have prostatits. the reason a man can even get an erection is the prostate. the prostates functions are to make an erection and to
produce the prostate fluid which mixes with semen to form ejaculation....
couple other things that scream prostatitis are
((( I don't have much sexual desire as I once did. After I ejaculate it seems like I have to wait at least 2 or 3 days for my penis to recouperate.)))
because it sounds like me and i have chronic prostatitis....low sexual desire...and it takes a few days to get horny again like your penis is sore and tired....
(( trouble getting erections/weak erections ))
again sounds like prostatitis
your prostate doesn't have to be swollen in order to have prostatitis. BPH is sually found in older men 40 years of age and older not usually in younger men....
seems like you are not sure.. the easiest way to see if u have prostatitis is let a doctor perform a digital rectal exam... and if it hurts ..than its prostatitis....
that is the easiest way to note if u do.. because if u have prostatitis and the doctor puts some pressure on ur prostate u will know real quick if u have it or not. because it will hurt
