AMMM, my left foot was infected most likely encouraged by a very low blood flow in that leg. I probably picked up the germ from electric carts I had often used in stores and then not washing my hands after wards. A sore appeared as big as a baseball just below the ankle. Muscles in both legs then became very painful to the touch. Wounds from a past infection became very sensitive to touch and bed sores appeared on my back. Also my dreams were real weird. As I said I became extremely weak. When I told a doctor friend that antibiotics were useless he just raised his eyebrows.
In the retirement home where I'm staying there's a man here who had both his hips removed because of a staph infection. I guess that with age staph is not so much fun.

Thanks BigAl. I hope I am not in that situation. My infection started in my genitals, but I am afraid it has spread to other body parts.

I had huge success treating an infected blister on my ankle using hydrogen peroxide and a UV tanning bed. I filled the popped blister with the h-p, and then put my foot in the tanning bed for twenty minutes. Infection had cleared by morning.
