Default Hearing test

I went to a health expo yesterday, held in our local shopping centre, there was a stall there offering free hearing tests for pensioners, I know I am deaf in left ear, and I am an aged pensioner, so thought I would have another test done through them, it is government subsidised, and you get a voucher toward your hearing aid so decided to make an appointment, but the thing that annoys me is that I have to have a DR sign the form, to be sent to the government so I can get a voucher before I have the test , now I have to find a dr that I am happy with.
I guess its good that we can get free tests,And the dr will be happy to get something out of it.

Around here most will give you a "free test" just on the hope that they will be able to sell you a pair.
