If your taking melatonin regularly you might want to get your blood sugar checked. According to this research, some people have a genetic defect when it comes to melatonin which can raise blood glucose levels.

Thanks for the info liverock. I do take melatonin sometimes for sleep, and there's a lot of type 2 diabetes in my family. I don't think I need to worry about it, but it's good to keep that in mind.
