He says we should be taking iodine because of the disaster in Japan to help us fight off the radiation. What do you think? Thanks.
Alex Jones is sometimes a guest on the CoasttoCoastAM radio show with George Noory. I enjoy listening to what he has to say, and he makes some very good points. I think sometimes his views are a bit 'over the top', but I'm open minded, and like to hear what people have to say. I don't think I'd actually listen to his show though.
He's not the only one recommending iodine or potassium iodide for radiation. I've been taking just a small amount, label recommendaton of Life-flo liquid iodine plus (with potassium iodide) for a couple of weeks now. I figure it can't hurt. Although there are other problems like cesium, which aren't helped by iodine.
People have been taking iodine for a very long time to help with pathogens and disease states such as cancer.
Look into Dr. Brownstein's work. He has been taking 100mg (not mcg) a day for many years with wonderful health. He has a book called, "Iodine, Why You Need It."
In it he states that we have epidemic low levels of iodine due to the increased use of fluoride in our water, bromide in our bread and perchlorate contamination in our soil and water that all block iodine absorbtion.
The book is all about how iodine is critical for optimal health along with having hormones balanced and proper vitamin/mineral levels. As a side note he says it can protect your thyroid during nuclear disasters.
Some my consider Alex a bit paranoid but how many MSM outlets when telling you not to worry because the radiation levels are within the �official� safe guide lines will also tell you that these official guide lines were just increased following the earthquake.
Thus simply by raising the exposure standard we can limit the danger. Gee what an interesting concept. I�m surprised we haven�t used this before.
What Im trying to figure out is if any of the other stuff is making its way over by air or rain aside from iodine 131. Has anyone heard anything.. If we are careful we can endure the iodine issue by using iodine... but the other stuff is a lot tougher to deal with... yet I hear no reports one way or another... is no news good news?
I wouldn't waste my time to listen to Alex Jones, too much of what he says is sensationalist or unsubstantiated. His constant over-excited and enthused voice also reminds me too much of an infomercial salesmen. He is America's leading healthy living advocate and he covers alot of the same subjects as Alex Jones as well about the corporate coup of American government, but he is more into research and a factual approach, unlike Jones. He also consistently interviews great guests. Whenever you listen to one of his shows, you can learn so much, not just about healthy living practices, but about world events, politics, spirituality and every subject there is.

You've got to always use your discernment... but Jones will bring up topics others refuse to address.. I prefer to read the articles than listen to the show, which can give a headache.. He often has great guests who have an important story to tell
I just listened to last nights C2C this afternoon (I have streamlink) with Jesse and Alex back to back it was one of the better ones.
Jesse is on a book tour promoting his new book (63 documents the government doesn�t want you to read) I just got the book and so far have only read the first one. A detailed description of all the different whys the government can kill any individual that is considered a threat plus the advantages and disadvantages of the different methods.
Haven�t we been told that we are the good guys and would never do anything like that? Yet here is a document describing how to do in detail.
Regarding his TV show Jesse told of the extreme pressure the producers and cable network got after one showing of the FEMA �relocation camp� program and were told not to rebroadcast it. So much for free speech. You must not embarrass big brother. For those that happened to miss the one airing of this program it showed that these "relocation camps" appeared to be basically prisons designed to hold the general public and entire families. When asked to see the inside of these public buildings they were told that was not allowed. When asked about their purpose they told no comment.
In the second half of the show Alex brought up that we no longer need to worry about radiation from Japan because the government has fixed the problem by simply raising the minimum safe levels. But rather then worry about that you should be concerned about the radiation levels that is already in our current water supply. It appears that along with adding of fluoride to protect our teeth there has been also found substantial amounts of radioactive material. Which would have the effect of reducing the fertility rate of those drinking it.
Did this get into the mandated fluoride treatment by just accident or is perhaps a form of mass birth control?
Also what was kind of interesting Alex�s phone line (a land line) went dead three times just as he was about to make some unflattering comment about government. Naturally this was just a coincidence, but then again maybe not.

It was a good show, enough to keep me awake for Ventura, but I didn't hear Jones. I remember Jesse saying that the FEMA camp had a big playground area for the children...how thoughtful.
So when does the Revolution begin, Jessie? I say, bring it on!
As for Iodine, I take it daily due to a defective Thyroid gland.
We have no idea how much destruction is happening to our soils, from air/water pollution coming from Japan. Nor how long it will continue.
Anything not grown in a greenhouse may be contaminated.
