so basically, after reading that, it sounds like you sit down in a comfortable position....maybe do a quick prayer,....kind of saying your intentions to connect with God.....
and basically clear your mind by saying a "manta" aka phrase over and over....like "filled with Gods love"........
understand that you will get better and better at it....with practice and eventually you'll go into a deeper and deeper calmness....
and, from another book, I read the best times to do this is first thing when you wake up and right before bed.
