I want to start taking MMS as a detox, but I am not sure if there are any concerns for long term harm (I don't mind the short term symptoms). Here in this video there is an example of one reason of potential down side.
Thanks for the response, but I don't think you clicked on the link I posted. I didn't ask if it cure candida, but rather if it would CAUSE yeast infection. I didn't see Jim Humble addressing this issue.
I did watch the video. This is the first time I have heard this point of view in three years since mms has been on the market. I would have to hear more I think before I believe it. There are certainly more than a handful of doctors now using this product. It would be noted my now.
Candida and yeast are the same thing. Chronic candida is a mutant form of yeast infection that is pervasive and can cause many different problems. There are quite a few reports out there that mms1 has helped chronic candida.
The concerns this doctor talks about is all stuff that has run through my mind also but I essentially had to give up the worry because I just have not been seeing it. Certainly in those severe cases with significant bowel dyscrasia like crohns or irritable bowel, we would be seeing this type of negative side effect but we haven't.
Many people have been on mms for a long time and there have been no reports that I have heard of a secondary fungal infection resulting. It is of Jim Humble's opinion also, and he certainly has been hearing in on thousands of cases, that mms cures fungal infection. Candida, or commonly called yeast overgrowth is a fungal infection.
I would also mention that the predicessor product "Stabilized Oxygen" which has been on the market for over 30 years has a reputation for not causing but curing yeast.
Jim does say that there is one type of fungus that mms does not do well with and he had not been able to identify this fungus by name and he describes it and what to do about it here: https://www.jimhumble.biz/biz-fungus.htm
