Default Oxidants (mms) VS. Antioxidants

OK, so now I know why not to take Vit. C with mms.
First question is, what other antioxidants should I avoid while taking MMS?

I regularly take oil of oregano, fish oil and vit c and sometimes quercitin and Wellness Formula (which has c and lots of other stuff in it). I take these things for my chronic sinus polyps and I just started MMS recently to see if it helps.

Second question, just how does this work? I mean, I've always heard that taking 'antioxidants' was the key to fighting off disease but now here comes MMS, an 'oxidant' and its supposed to work well to fight disease too. So I guess it doesn't matter weather or not its 'oxidant' or 'anti', it just matters........uh what it is....?
Can someone shed some light here? I'm a noob.

Thanks,
Mcstiggs

In general take your vitamins about 4 hours before and after mms.
Oxidants have gotten a bad rap for long long time. What is oxygen, it is only capable of oxidizing! Just try to live without it.
Ozone therapy is very valid also. Reading on that might help you understand the role of oxidation in the prevention and cure of microbial disease....and really, there are only two diseases, microbial and deficiency disease, at least from an allopathic point of view in alternative health.

While taking MMS, avoid all other supplements for at least 2 hours. In fact, wait 4 hours to make sure the MMS is out of the system before taking any antioxidants.

You are partly right about antioxidants. They prevent free radical damage to cells, and thus, prevent aging. Oxidizers, such as MMS would prematurely age you if taken in large amounts over a long period of time, much the same as rust ages a car.

To understand how MMS works in the body, it would be helpful if you understood how medical ozone works.

In simple terms, it kills anything in the blood that isn't supposed to be there. That includes bacteria, yeast, mold, fungus, and viruses. It is only in the system for a short time, so it doesn't cause aging.

To put it in another way, MMS is a toxic poison, and if you take too much it would certainly kill you. However, in small amounts, such as a few drops, it is beneficial to the body.

Default Other potential anti-oxidants?

So is oil of Oregano considered an anti-oxidant? I take 'OregaResp' extract which has P73 oregano, cumin oil, wild sage oil and cinnamin bark oil.
I wondered if perhaps it would conflict with MMS.
Whadya think?
