Medicare

I have been disabled for 7 years and I have went to the VA hospital for all my medical because if I had to pay for all the treatments I received form the VA you�re looking at maybe a half million dollars and I only had one operation. I have Part A for Medicare but never used it. I applied for Part B but after you pay for all the deductibles you don't have any money left so how do people survive in this county? We are number 37 on the World Health Care list. I pay nothing for the VA but if I start using Medicare I won't have enough money left to buy a taco and taco bell. How do people do it?

Basically, its like this. People don't do it.

My husband has VA too. You could be dead before you get any service
they are good for some things but for most things you dont want to go there.

Stay away from their medicine. Use their diagnostics but ignore the docs.
They can be good for surgery if you need it.

I will get Medicare part B but I know there are supplement insurance for Medicare. This is very complex so I need to do a lot of research. I found that the VA is pretty good and treated me very well but I do not want to put my life in their hands.
