Default HDHI Plans

Shopping for some type of med insurance is totally distressing!
I'm thinking about just getting some type of catastrophic ~ major medical type of coverage in the event I need to be admitted into the hospital for anything.

The cheapest high deductible plan I've found is through Horizon BC BS for just under $300 per month. I don't wanna spend that.
Although, I've seen replies on YAHOO questions stating that a twenty-something girl in Texas was able to obtain a BC BS HDHI plan for $29. Maybe it's was a BS reply? hmmm

I have BCBS of Texas. They just went up 18% on mine for a 5000 deductible to $345 per month. They go up almost that much every year. There was a huge increase when I turned 60 too.

Best place to look is https://www.ehealthinsurance.com/

I've also check Humana One. About the same price as others. Too bad we can't shop in other states. It would be nice to have Romneycare. Humana does have a great plan, once I get Medicare. Their Humana Advantage plan. About $15 per month.

Ou.. thanx for that link jfh!

I'm still hoping to hit the jackpot with a very no frills plan. Like I'm expecting to wade through the mumbojumbo and toward the very back, they have just hospital visit coverage for under a hundred bucks a month lol
I don't care about Rx or Doctor's visits not being covered, ya know?
