Good that your dog was fine, k2c - so many dogs dies of snakebites in Australia, people who live in remote areas keep anti-venom and liquid vit c in their fridges for emergencies.
 
They give the vit c via IV also...
 
I suppose you could give the animal mms by IV if you had to?
