Hmm... Shilajit and Chlorella have a heavy metal absorbing effect and I want to make sure it doesn't get in the way of my vitamin. Also, I'm wondering if taking chlorella and shilajit will attempt to absorb each other... Shilajit is supposedly full of minerals so...
Thank you for sending me on this paradigm shift hahaha.
I am ditching iron entirely. Just tossed my multivitamin. I am on the paleo diet, so I already get more iron than most people... Plus chlorella and spirulina are high in iron so I'm wayyyy overdoing it.
But my original question still has not been answered. =P
How do you take the chlorella and spirulina if it is loose? Tastes AWFUL in juices -imo. I know how great it is but...
there is alot of both in vitamineral green. I take about a spoonful in a glass of room temp water. Its not that bad. Tastes kind of like green tea. Keep in mind, I don't like tea.
So what should one take Shilajit with? I'm thinking to combine it with Maca and Pine Pollen in a morning smoothie.
You got me thinking about the Spirulina and Chlorella. I shouldnt take it alongside my vitamin and mineral supplements. I take mine in a fruit smoothie, its a must cos its the most horrible smelling and tasting thing ever. Add lots of fresh lemon juice to mask it.
I respect your view on iron not being for men. Yet you must realize that iron helps structure your blood cells and aids in the transport of oxygen in the hemoglobin and myoglabin.
Yes, I have heard that men should cut back.
