Thanks knight! I've heard that exposure to the noise through CDs would work for animals, nice to hear it's proven. My dog is upset by fireworks, gunshots and thunder. I had a "natural sounds" CD with some thunderstorms that I played in the house for a couple of days, but I didn't do it long enough, or continue to raise the volume. Some recommend Bachs herbal remedies to calm their pets, but it has never worked for my dogs.

Hmm I'm all about facing your fears but theres something about this I dont like. Bonfire Night is only once a year and if they can't get the horses away from the fireworks surely its better for them to endure it just once instead of having to listen to is everyday for three weeks?
