Treating Osteoarthritis

Although I do think that mineral depletion does play a role in osteoarthiritis there are other concerns. Arthritis in general is an inflammation due to often times unknown factors.

1. It can be caused by stress and over use.
2. It can be caused by a microbial invasion to the cartilage and other joint tissues.
3. It can be caused by an inflammatory response that for some reason cannot turn off.

In order to heal these joints the first thing that needs to be done is to eliminate inflammation. If inflammation is present it is very difficult for other joint tissues to regenerate. If there is no cartilage left at all I just don't know if any program will work.

When I first heard about glucosamine it was on a news report way back in the '90's sometime. It was about a pro basketball player who destroyed his knee cartilage. After treatment with glucosamine the docs said that his knees were better than ever.

I suspect that these treatments will work better on the young than the old who have such severe damage. What would be the difference? Lots of human growth hormone circulating.

Dr Donsbach, who developed Inflameze is no longer with that company. He has done much to stake his reputation on helping those with all kinds of arthritis.
