Default Asthmatic bronchitis

A person i love very much has been feeling bad for the past 2-3 weeks and today she went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Asthmatic bronchitis...

I want to ask firstly can she be around babies while having this? so basically is this transmissive or not?

Another question is what can she do to heal from this, treatments, naturall treatments, alrernative medicine treatments, the whole deal ??? im talking short term bcuz she dont really go for this naturall living stuff, she does live and eat healthy but you know she trusts doctors,basically...

oh and she got and inhaler thingy to use twice every morning and twice every evening for 2 months plus some antibiotics(i wanted to tell her not to use the antibiotics, but than again i cant tell her to do that bcuz...how to put it,im no authority on theese things...)

I will read about this now on the net too but any information will be appreciated,thanks...

Medical treatment for asthmatic bronchitis is similar to that of chronic bronchitis. Medications include bronchodilators, steroids, and antibiotics. But these treatments do not really cure the illness; it helps in alleviating its symptoms and as much as possible give comfort to the patient.

Why does this come as absolutely NO suprise to me???

Cover the symptoms, dont deal with the underlying cause and cure the disease, like reading a fucking book over and over again,im sick of it!!!!

You might wonder, is asthmatic bronchitis contagious? Bronchitis itself can be caused by a virus or bacteria, which are contagious. However, chronic asthmatic bronchitis typically is not contagious.

Ok so only the doctor can know...
Or only the doctor can know IF the diagnosis was thourough enough...

Is this correct?

Her doctor actually gave her 2 inhalers

1 to use when she is feeling really bad
and the second one to use morning and evening for one month
+
the antibiotics(she mentioned she wont use the antibiotics for a few days bcuz she has a party and plans to drink in a few days, stupid decision, anyway after the party she will take the antibiotics too)

and the doctor also told her she should get some thyme tea, haha the thing is i have been drinking thyme tea for months now and i even made her a few times, and now she needs it but she dont really like thyme tea...i think its wonderfull

i looked around the net, basically lemon, honey, ginger, garlic(its also as it was written ''Antiasthmatic'' - i have no idea how it has this ability, i know garlic is one of the best anti-bacterials and anti-viral but had no idea about it beeing antiasthmatic) and a few more things i found helps,i told her...and also vitamin c(in case the cause is bacterial or a virus) (and to strenghten the immune system), she has a fresh orange juice occasionally, i want her to take the liposomal i made but she wants to keep it naturall...hahahaha she beat me on this one i wanna supplement and she wants naturall from food,i just know there is no way in hell she can get good amounts of vitamin C with a glass of fresh orange juice..maybe it would be possible a few hundred years ago when the fruits and veggies were all organic and full of nutrients, nowadays its all missing on everything :/

Fenugreek seed tea thins congestion. Sliperry elm bark tea (or taken in capsules) is a demulcent which can soothe/stop the urge to cough. One of the problems with bronchitis is that the constant coughing wears a person out--creates exhaustion.
A hot toddy taken at bedtime will help to open airways and relax a person so that they can get good, healing sleep.

From what I understand bronchitis caused by a virus is contagious and asthmatic bronchitis, if caused by a virus is contagious, but chronic asthmatic bronchitis is not contagious.

Antiobiotics will only cure bacterial bronchitis, not viral bronchitis. Asthmatic bronchitis and/or chronic bronchitis can also be caused by irritants like tobacco smoke, pollution, allergans like pollen, mold, etc, chemicals, certain medications, exercise, weather changes, strong emotions which antibiotics would not help.

(Strong emotions, isn't that weird that it can cause bronchitis? I noticed that when I have bronchitis, which I get a lot ever since I got my first flu vaccine, in fact I have a mild case of it right now that has been hanging on for a while, it gets worse with strong emotions--any emotions, even happy ones.)
