Unhappy Spots and 'pimples' on my butt

I am sixteen years old and I have something like pimples but not exactly and red spots on my butt. I have this problem since 2-3 years, I am afraid that I can't have sex untill I remove them. How can I treat them. I am too shy to go to a doctor so please tell me, its such a big problem for me. Where do they come from? I wear cotton underwear. I sit a lot. What shall I do please tell me

I think that at your age it's likely to be from hormonal changes. Honestly, you shouldn't be worried about not having sex now or in the near future, as you're likely to have more problems that are bigger than pimples.

I think it would help if you started taking an Omega 3 supplement, along with eating foods that put a good amount of Omega 3s in your diet. Also a B-50 vitamin supplement would be a good idea.

Topically, you can put some extra virgin unrefined coconut oil on the area in the evening, you'll have to let it soak in as it will be oily. Cover up so it doesn't stain your sheets, etc. BTW, hello and welcome to the forum!

I agree with K2C, it's acne due to hormones.

You have to be more consistant with hygiene by using a warm, soapy washcloth on your butt in the shower nightly. You could use a soapy back brush too. This will remove the sweat, sebum & dirt that builds up through out the day, especially since you're sitting 'alot'.

If you wear whitey tighties, change to cotton boxers. Stop sitting so much.

Cut out sugary snacks. Long story short, sugar increases insulin which causes the body to produce more testosterone which causes overactivity in the sebaceous glands and that's how the sebum problem occurs on your butt.

Drink water.
