Default Stomach/Small Intestine? Problems - Please help

2 days ago I had some intense stomach and perhaps lower intestine problems. Alot of cramping/burning pain and even nausea in my lower stomach/perhaps in my small intestine area. The pain was mainly around my belly button (below and above it). I didn't throw up, but I felt close to it. It started around 3pm and lasted till about 9:30pm. I tried taking raw honey and ginseng around 4pm when I got home, just in case it was a stomach virus. But unfortunately, that didn't seem to stop it.

What did help was sitting in a hot bath around 6:30pm. But eventually, the pain came back and intensified. Eventually, what did help as well was eating a big bowl of cream of wheat around 9:30pm. That was pretty much the end of it.

I ate bee pollen with my lunch when it happened. Could that have caused it? I ate about a teaspoon. I hadn't eaten pollen in a while before then.

I've been taking the vitamineral green stuff every morning now for about several weeks. Could that be alkalizing my body too much? Or causing some sort of other problems? Maybe not making my stomach produce enough acid? It probably isn't, as greens are really good for you, but I just want to check with you guys.

This intense pain happened before, exactly a month ago as well. Unfortunately, I don't remember if I ate bee pollen on that day. And before that, probably once every two months or something...I don't remember. I'm starting to journal when it happens now and write down what I've been eating.

I don't understand why I keep getting these stomach./intestine? problems every rare once in a while, but when it happens it sucks...and it seems the only thing that soothes it is a hot bath and a big bowl of cream of wheat.

I would not worry too much if the problem resolves that easily.

This could be stress induced if not by diet.
Or are you eating something that may have a bacteria in it?
Perhaps it is just a bad case of gas or some gas gets stuck?.. this is called incarcerated gas and can be quite painful.

Do you take probioitcs?

How is your liver? Maybe you need a liver detox.

maybe some applegate lunchmeat. it doesn't have added nitrates. maybe it develops bacteria in my fridge. but then again, I don't think I was eating this stuff last month when it happened.

well, i did wait a long time to eat cream of wheat, so I'm not sure it would resolve with just that, if I ate cream of wheat right away. I'll try doing that right away if it happens again and see it that takes care of it.

its very painful. perhaps it is nerves. i get stressed out at my job. i'm a teacher and it can be very stressful. though, when it happened last time, it was on a saturday and I wasn't working that day.

I don't know how my liver is. I eat stonyfield yogurt occasionally, and take vitamineral green daily (both have probiotics).
