its me!! IWBT is on a distinguished road
Default GAS

I often have a hard time passing gas ...I mean I feel gas up but have to stop and concentrate to push out just a fart..CRAZY uh!!

Get up and start walking. A 30mins walk should get your disgestive tract muscles moving and you will start farting. If 30mins do not do the trick, go for an hour's walk. If it still don't work, I have an exercise routine that can get you farting or belching in 10 mins. That will get rid of gas in your stomach and help kills off bad bacterias in your stomach, thus improving your digestion. Let me know if you are still interested.

I meant to mention (before I started playin' with all the fart buttons ) that when my kids were little & had problems passin' gas, I'd put them belly down, knees spread opened, across a pile of pillows. The pillows have to be positioned so they're pushing in the middle of your belly & your butt in the air. Similar to the yoga pose Downward Facing Dog. For some reason, within a few minutes, they would be able to pass the gas.

Actually, there's probably alot of people you could help by teaching them your exercise routine. Mind posting it?

It is possible the exercises could be used to prevent gas build up as well?

IWBT: 'Trapped wind' is the proper and gentlemanly term for your problem.

Eating certain foods can contribute to this problem...
Posture when eating is also to be considered.
Eating too quickly can be a factor too.

Sucking a peppermint after you've eaten can help. Going for a walk, as previously mentioned, can help as well.

The (British) natural remedy for wind is to take charcoal tablets after meals.

Following are some pointers to note if you are carrying out the exercise.
DONT's
1) If you have chronic heart disease, please do not carry out this exercise unless you are with qualified trainers.
2) Please do not carry out this exercise when you have consumed food.

DO's
1) This exercise should only be carry out on an empty stomach or at least 2.5hrs after eating.
2) Stand upright and at ease with legs shoulder width apart. Bend your knees slightly and lean back such that the weight of your body is on your heels.
3) Pull up your anal muscles as if you are holding back your stools.
4) Look up straight ahead into the distance and point your tongue towards your upper jaw.
5) Breathe in and hold your breathe. Lift your arms up and swing as in the youtube movie listed above.
6) While swinging back as high as possible, cup your hands upwards.
7) Swing as many times as possible while holding your breathe. Swing for at least 40 times per day. If you can do it in the hundreds, so much the better.

If you fart or blech within mins or even while doing the swings, its a normal process. This exercise regime is known for helping to take care of many chronic ailments.
