GI tract sensitivity from GMOs?
Wondering if there is anyone else on the forum who suffers from adult onset food sensitivities/allergies to food items most commonly part of GMO farming?
Currently I am sensitive to the following and my face will swell up, eyelids, rash under my eyes and itching as well as water retention (full body), bloating and dissented abdomen, gas, constipation. Even a bite and this will happen, the degree varies depending on how much I consume.
All grains (even gluten free grains)
Corn and corn products
Red meats (beef, venison, etc)
Pork
Salt (table and sea salts)
Soy and peanuts
All Dairy (except Kefir)
Food additives for flavoring, color, extended shelf life
Autolyzed proteins, etc.
Refined sugar and artificial sugars
Currently I am steering clear of all these things whenever possible, read labels religiously. Curious though about the effect GMOs may be having on long term health... I was fine up until about age 17/18 and began elimination diets over the years before settling on the current list.
