I would use the brat diet for a couple of days.... bananas, rice, apples, toast.... it seemed to always work for us, except one daughter...all her kids get diarreah from apple juice, so she cut the apples out. If your child is drinking alot of fruit juice, I would try and stop that for a few days... My grandson gets diarreah from sucralose that they seem to be sneaking into fruit juices more nowadays.. might be something to check... Lots of water, so he doesnt get dehydrated... and you know if he has diarreah on the day he is suppose to get his shots, you should rescheduale the shots... if his immune system is compromised already, its not safe to add something that will strain his system more....

he does drink alot of juice....
we have him on water for now....
are they adding the sucralose on the ingredient list of juices?
I've seen Activated Charcoal Tablets work well on adults and dogs, not sure about toddlers, but it's pretty safe. Just keep in mind that it can't be taken in conjunction with prescription meds, as it will absorb and lessen their strength, this also is true for vitamins. For short-term use to correct the problem, I'd try it. For adults, 1000mg every 4 hours until relief.
I definitely agree on the Pedialyte for replacing his electrolites.
Bananas are what I used to use; Rice and toast may help too. And plenty of
pure water to help rehydrate him.
When we found the sucralose, yes it was on the ingredient list, but the list was so small I had to struggle to read it... between the small type and the colors on the label, you would think that they didnt want you to read them...gee almost like they are ashamed of whats in their stuff...My daughter in law bought the juice, and it was an apple juice blend I think they call it.
