The US is already getting debris from the Japanese disaster, and that is just the leading edge of massive more to come. All of this contributes to the filth in the Pacific. Who's responsible enough to try to clean it up.

It will be cleaned up when someone figures out an efficient way to recycle it and make a profit going it.
