Sorry to bother you with this. These are clearly balloons... but the similarity to mass sightings is striking in some ways

What makes you so positive it is balloons being released? I'm not saying anything to the contrary... just wondering. I did go ahead and look up a bunch of videos of balloons being released and unless the speed of this video was slowed down and his voice recorded separately (which is very possible) the videos of balloons beings released looks pretty different. They swirl around a lot more than the ones in the video you posted. Perhaps there are factors I don't understand like weather.

This reminds me of an amusing story. When I was a lot younger, one Saturday evening my father and I went to the local carnival - there was a big processioin with floats, majorettes etc.
We had just parked the car and were heading into town. There was a guy selling helium balloons and doing a great trade.
This little lad decided he wanted a dolphin balloon. As the vendor was trying to free the string, a grey spherical balloon broke loose and slipped from his grasp, disappearing into the evening sky, heading towards the coast.

Reported with much fanfare in the local newspaper a few days later was that a UFO had been spotted over a town just down the coast on Saturday evening. Apparently, it was grey, spherical amd moving quickly but not making any sound. "It was definitely a UFO" an eye-witness reported...

Yes but the gentleman had convinced himself it was an alien spacecraft that had transversed the galaxy from a million light years away! When it was in fact a �1.50 'Mr. Smiley' helium balloon from ten miles down the coast....

Mind you, some sightings cannot be explained. And I certainly believe there are a myriad of other live experiences, so who knows what is out there.

That is funny. UFO's will always be UFO's, unfortunately.

Ladies and gentlemen, here in the UK we've also had many UFO sightings, some the real thing and as is the way of humans some are hoaxes. For me I have always believed in ET's and their craft, and last year I caught one on camera and have a photo to prove this. I have also met two ET's, one in 1983 and 2006. Am I speaking pure fantasy? Could be! But, I am not! Whether you take my word or not, is for you to decide!
