\nActive members have been given absolute freedom to post any links, but this privilege is abused, some posts are full of commercial links, some link to unknown websites which look quite spammy. Therefore, the link rules will be enforced consistently, posts breaking them will be moderated.

Kevin has posted about the spam problems here numerous times in the past. The list of postings that end up in 'automatic moderation', which include links to promote the sale of particular products is increasing. Please take the time to read our link policy, everyone's cooperation is appreciated.

Rule of Thumb: Zero Spam Tolerance Policy. If you come here to promote a website, product or service, you will be banned.

1. Regardless of the content of the website, self-promotional links are not allowed.
2. Links to any websites that sell products or services are not allowed.
3. Only links to reputable news, research, government or other informative websites are permitted.
4. Don't create posts with nothing but a link. If you are going to link to a news article for example, give a summary of it.
5. If you are a new member, please don't include ANY links in your posts.
6. All members are asked to use links in a responsible manner.

Any posts breaking the above rules will be removed or edited without prior notification, poster's account may be suspended.
