Negatives relative to Walmart can usually be traced to labor unions.
Gee, I wonder why?

this statement. No, I am not against unions. Some are working very hard to create better conditions for their workers. Having said that, many are really into growth and power and have been for many years. No concern for their workers, only concern for expanding their (union leadership) base. Won't name names, or give details, but Walmart is the biggest target in their rangefinder! Everything you read about Walmart is driven by union influence within the media. Don't think I'm defending Walmart at all costs. They have made their fair share of mistakes at the expense of their workforce, but they seem to be very adept at correcting them and recovering their balance. Even Mercola's slap at their attempt to enter the organic food market will not stop me from shopping and using their organic offerings, until some offficial agency slaps them down. H |

Well, I did it. I took a trip to Walmart today. I never go there but had to see if they had organic veggies.
Not a single leaf or root was organic. Not a thing. I did by some plastic stuff though, bad me! And some acetone for mixing with my gas. |

I can't stand Wal-Mart, whose stores I have visited about four times. The merchandise is consistently disorganized, under glaring fluorescent lighting and unappealing staging. Ugh. I'd rather pay more and enjoy a shopping experience.

Wal-Mart!
We hve a brand new Wallyworld Super store that
just opened, but I won't be going there. A friend and her daughter tried it last week, and she said it was still as overcrowded, aislewise as the old store. :x The most I ever bought there was some sewing supplies and yarns, but that was before they began selling foods, except for crackers, cookies, peanuts, etc. Personally, I think it w/be a detriment to the Organic food industry. I think Walmart w/do ANYthing to get the almighty dollar, regardless of who else gets harmed or put out of business. :x Sorry, I don't trust them!!!!!!
