Default Help! not urinating straight.

I am only 14 years old. When I urinate, it comes out crooked. What's wrong? And sometimes I feel pain in my pubic area, not my testes or penis. What's wrong? could it have something to to with being overweight or anything? I weigh 175 1bs, and my height is 5' 3''.

spidey, Im not an expert... Im not sure if there is an expert in the peeing straight field, but I will tell you what I know from experience... everyone seems to pee crooked... My daughter noticed years ago, that men tend to all pee to one side... she questioned me about it, and so we decided to take a survey of the men we delt with on a daily basis, and after they got done laughing at us... we found that the majority of the men all streamed more to one side then the other.... tell me what side you stream to please... As for the pain in your pubic region, it could be many things... could be an ingrown hair, could be constipation, could be a pulled muscle... if it keeps happening, or if it gets worse.... go to your doctor... medicaid will cover a doctors visit for pain.... To be real honest with you, if you are only fourteen, then you will be discovering alot of aches and pains as your body makes changes into adulthood....Go slow with them, and pay attention to them... but dont worry too much... learn to listen to your body.... It will tell you when you exercise too much or not enough, and it will tell you when you are eating too much or eating the wrong foods... which brings us to your next problem....your weight.... time to make some changes in your lifestyle guy.... You talked about having teeth problems in one post, and now you are talking abut pain and weight problems... your body is telling you that you need to make some changes or you are going to be in for more problems....Eating right can be really hard, especially if you have to depend on others buying your food and preparing it for you.... but now is the time for you to start learning how to take care of yourself.... Sit down, and talk to mom or who ever your caregiver is, and explain to them that you want to try and shed some of those pounds.. A life time of obesity will cause major problems as you grow up....diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, aches and pains to name just a few.. Its time to make some changes... the first change I would make, is to get off the sodas, juices and power drinks..... get water, nice fresh cool water.... so good for your body... get use to drinking plain water.... alot of people recommend half your body weight in ounces of water daily... so for instance, if you weigh 175, these folks suggest you drink at least 85 (approximately) ounces a day.... I would do the math for ya, but I am too tired... someone, how many quarts of water is that????? And by the way, it would be better for you if your water does not have chlorine or floride (spelling wrong?) in it..... see if you can help mom pick out a good quality not expensive water filter, that will filter these toxins out....
Next, in my opinion, get away from the highly processed foods.... the bread, donuts, chips, biscuts, cereals and such will cause you more problems as you get older.... choose more veggies... believe me, keep eating them, and you will find that you will like the taste of them.... Try to switch from cereal and bread products for breakfast to a protein, a piece of fruit and a glass of milk.... Try adding a salad to your other meals.... choose a green veggie over potatoes or corn.... both are high in starch.. and calories.... keep trying, and start learning about nutrition.... stay away from sugar substitutes... in my opinion, and the opinion of some others, the sugar substitutes will not only cause more aches and pains, they will also cause you to eat more food... they cause you to be hungry.... try to read some more on this forum..... Also, you need to exercise more.... get up away from the computer, and tv and start spending more time outside getting fresh air... not to mention that you need to be in the sun without sunblock to get the vitamin d that your body needs.....But you need to move... at the very least, you should be walking or running at least a half hour a day... but, you are a teen ager, you should be out there running and playing and moving around... Dance, do tiebo (spelling someone??) Do you have a boys club or a ymca around you somewhere, that you could use... go walking with your parents... play football... ask your parents to help you with more exercise programs...... You are too young to be starting off with problems already... but then again, there are so many kids like you that have worse problems.. but arent willing to do anything about it. You have made some important steps, by coming here to this forum and looking for help.... Now see what you can learn, and put some of that knowhow to good use. good luck to you, you can do this, you can make your body a healthy strong body.... it just depends on how much work you want to put into it

2.7 quarts. That seems like a lot to me.
I keep a quart of thermos bottle of chilled water sitting around that I sip on through out the day. Like the taste of chilled better then warm.

Now see, I was always told that drinking drinks with ice or really cold was bad for you, that it would cause indigestion.... So I drink most of my drinks at room temps

I like that one smiley face... the one that turns green!!!! I dont drink cold water... I drink room temperature, I was always concerned about getting indigestion.... now, its just habit I suppose....

2.7 quarts of water doesnt seem like that much to me.... I get at least a gallon, and definitely notice a difference when I dont drink that much.... but I think defining what fits your own body is the best way to go..... I assume, once I loose the excess weight, that I will not need as much water as I do now.

when I urinate, it comes out to the upper right and it has been like that for about a year and a half now. A few months ago, when I told my mom, she took a whle to answer, but finally said it's fine.

If that is the only problem/symptom I dont think I would worry too much about it. Just remember to lift the toilet seat and aim carefully.

At 175 lbs it probably would be a good idea to lose a few pounds. No crash diet or anything like that, just common sense stuff, like eat less and cut back on sugars.

Ahhh see, another one for our survey... According to the men we have talked to... and you would have to know my family..... the majority of the men said that when they take aim, it seems to pull to the right.....
So how about it gentlemen on this forum..... pay attention to your aim, and give us the best 5 out of 7 aims.... do you shoot straight? or does your aim go to the right or the left... I even noticed when i was changing diapers, that it seems the right is more saturated, even if the gun was positioned towards the left side..... I know ya'll dont like surveys, but lets do an unofficial one.... which way do you aim.....

and the funny part is, even if you dont respond to this post, because of the fact that you read it, you will notice from now on... We had quite a few men who got frustrated, because their response was I dont know... but then a day later, they would come back complaining about now that pops into their heads everytime.... Dont know if it still does, we did this quite awhile ago

can this have something to do with masturbation? cuz when it goes to the righ, I have to turn my prostate all the way to the left, and my prostate seems to be twisted. I could be exagerating though. I do worry too much

IMHO, I would say no... one of the people that we surveyed, was a young man who could not move. He wore diapers, and needed total care. When his diapers were changed, it seemed that the right side of the diaper was usually the side that got soaked... And this boy could not masturbate...

I think, that all this is just a part of growing up. Masturbation is a normal process, and your body isnt gonna break or do weird things just because you do it.... Read an article this morning, that basically said sex will help men live longer. I know, that in many circles, masturbation is considered a no no, and many mothers would get upset at the idea of their fourteen year old sons doing it... yes, I was upset too, but my sons are all grown now, and it didnt hurt them in anyway. Could it be possible, that some of these things that you seem to feel are wrong with you, is because you are feeling guilty for doing something that you might have been taught not to do and you are scoping out the idea that you might be punished for what you are doing by having these problems??? In my own personal opinion, and granted, Im just a mom so dont know much about mens problems, I think you are probably just fine... You are just having growing pains... If you honestly believe something is wrong, then call your doctor and make an appointment to talk about all these issues. Or possibly a school nurse (I know that one probably wont fly) but, for the most part, I think you are a normal teenager going through puberty... It will all be fine in the end, and I promise, nothing bad will happen to you if you masturbate.

(and as a post note here... one of you men, can take over this discussion any time now.... thank you very much!!!!!)
