Lightbulb Light's Color Temperature Can Change Health

Light's Color Temperature Can Change Your Health and Lifestyle
========================

Many houses are now using fluorescent lamps or colored lighting systems. There
are three major color temperatures, commonly known as "cool white", "daylight",
and "warm white". There may be slight differences depending on the
manufacturers.

This photo shows how the different color temperatures look like:

You may think that lighting is just to provide illumination to an area, but that
may no longer be the case. Lighting especially the color temperature has a very
important role in our living. For example a certain color temperature of light
makes it easier to read books for people with cataract. Another color makes
foods look tastier. Also, did you know that a certain color temperature improves
the function of our stomach and intestines? One other particular color can make
you sleep easily. Proper color temperature of the lights used in your room can
indeed change your lifestyle, health, and wealth. For sure, no one thought how
the color of lighting can change your living.

Some decades ago, when my friend came to my house, he told me that he had
difficulties reading my writing. I tried to add another spotlight to make the
area brighter, but my friend told me that it's really hard to read. I just
laughed saying that he might have eye problems.

During the later years, I found it difficult reading newspapers with existing
brightness of lights. A few days later, the fluorescent lamp busted
incidentally, and I immediately replaced it. Suddenly, I found it easier to read
under the same brightness of the lamp. What is the reason? The answer was so
simple. The brightness or lux is the same, but the color temperature turned from
daylight to warm white. The yellowish color of the bulb makes it easier for
elderly people suffering from cataract-related eye problems.

I learned that it is not only the brightness that makes our eyesight better but
more on the color of it. Cool white and natural daylight color have the tendency
of spreading the light widely, affecting the eye lens, especially when you have
cataract at old age. The reddish or yellowish color of warm white light does not
scatter the light widely in the eye lens, thus, it is recommended for reading.
The red color also improves digestion, taste, internal organs, and even our
memory. Notice that most Chinese restaurants use red paintings in their
surroundings.

However, the use of white daylight bulb when cooking and preparing foods in the
kitchen is recommended. This is because the daylight color makes you sensitive
to sweetness and bitterness. The reason behind how warm light energizes our
stomach and intestines is the wisdom implanted by God when people and other
animals were created.

For experimental purposes, we tried to light a room using warm white light for
10 people overnight, and another identical room using daylight for 10 people.
People in the room illuminated with warm white light slept well easily than
people in the room illuminated with daylight bulb. We did the same experiment
several times with various people, and the data we gathered remains consistent.

In fact, the human body is organized by lighting. Our body structure is made for
the natural phenomenon of the light in our life.

You may notice that fluorescent light is somewhat dazzling to your eyes, but the
same brightness of yellowish or reddish fluorescent light does not. It is
because the light yellowish glare contains hard-to-scatter properties, just like
how sunset appears reddish and calm to the eyes. This yellowish or reddish color
temperature prevents elderly people from having difficulty seeing especially if
they are suffering from cataract.

Think of the color of lighting for your rooms, and your lifestyle will
definitely change and you will get healthier than today. We are informed that
many got well from conditions such as insomnia, anemia, ulcer, migraine,
constipation, stress, stiff neck, headache, bed-wetting, and impotence. Find the
best color temperature suitable for your lifestyle and health.

Hello,

Thanks for posting that article, kind2creatures. I found it very interesting and thought provoking.

It is beneficial to make a regular habit of experiencing a variety of different natural light conditions. It can be very energizing to gaze at far horizons in full daylight. Looking out over the ocean or from mountaintops in the bright sunshine provides benefits that science can't measure. There is the well known benefit of Vitamin D being generated, of course, but I think there's a more fundamental reason humans feel compelled to gaze at the vivid colors of sunrise and sunset.

It is also highly beneficial to gaze at natural moonlight. This is a primal energy that has been blessing this wonderful planet from the beginning. Many cultures around the world honor and respect the moon. It has been a part of mythology for dozens of cultures throughout history.

Egyptian, Babylonian, Eastern Indian, Chinese, African, original American culture honored the moon as far back as 720 B.C. As a believer in Natural Law, I figure there's a good reason the Moon is there for the inhabitants of Earth to enjoy. I would like to see a study done on the potential benefits of moon-gazing for regulation of hormonal cycles. If nothing else, it would be a fun experiment for a group to undertake. We know the moon influences large bodies of water, such as the ocean. It also seems to stimulate behavior changes in animals. It makes sense that it could possibly have an effect on humans as well.

Thanks again, kind2creatures. Have a great day.
