I will admit, I miss healthier talk, but I was there for a long time. I got there about the time Carolyn Sunshine was finishing her fight and her life... There were some beautiful posting from her and from friends helping her... healthiertalk was there when I needed help taking care of a young man with CP and helped me alot with my ex dad in law who was living with me at the time. I met Rosie thru healthiertalk, and believe me, she helped me bunches and bunches with Lee, and with Dad inlaw... and also helped me healthwise!!!! I learned about ricebran oil from Neal and got all that great info on it from Rosie... So much information that was lost when they switched over to the new formats... So much info lost by losing the forum...its a shame we couldnt have transferred some of that info over to here.... As for SoCal, she is wild and crazy, but I thought she was awesome!!!! She helped me get some stuff straight with my mortgage company who at the time was trying to forclose on me...I will always be grateful for her help!!!
Thru the years, there were so many awesome people on that forum. Some transfered over to here, some I still email with, one or two are on my facebook...I would love to know what happened to a few more people.... but, thru all of it, I am so very thankful that battys mess is not on this forum...it wouldnt surprise me if he were here, but if he is, he has learned to reign in his tongue

I enjoy this forum quite a bit, but thru the transfer over to here, we did lose a few really knowledgable people...and that makes it hard....not to mention, I dont think a whipped cream thread would go over well on this forum....we did have some fun over there before batty came!!! Dont get me wrong, this is still a great forum, I wont leave it...but everyonce in awhile, I do miss healthiertalk!

Personally, I've found that some of the most interesting people were bad spellers. They're often creative types. My husband is one, he's a far right-brained person with an interesting skill set, creative, mechanical, funny, intuitive, intelligent.

I used to be a really good speller because I could picture the words but since CFS and the resulting brain problems, I have problems with spelling. But I don't think I'm more interesting now...

I'm not bothered about correct spelling, if the person posting is doing so with a pure heart and a genuine desire to help others, then I ask for nothing more.

Poor spelling doesn't bother me either; sometimes i have to look up how to spell a word in my own
dictionary. And I actually used to win spelling bees in elementary school!
