I just found out that someone I know, who is a whole life devotee of lef.org has very aggressive cancer throughout the entire body - super healthy, never sick, eats well, takes all natural vitamins and supplements, etc etc...
Maybe sometimes it is the luck of the draw? I don't know...
Theres no doubt that mind has huge effect on body.. I also belive that emotions can cause conditions like cancer.. for sure.. but its hard to say whether thats the cause in this instance.. it does seem to strike healthy people too.. I think it can be caused by many things, emotions, diet, ill health etc.. Also, how do you know so much about what these two guys eat on a day to day basis?
happy or not, I think its stress
90% or more of the time I'm sick I'm stressed out. When I'm stressed out I don't sleep as well either, which taxes my body even more.
I remember taking a psychology course in college years ago that the professor told us that studies show that 9 out of 10 people who end up in the hospitals were extremely stressed before ending up there.
I would guess that Steve Jobs might have a more stressful job and maybe he doesn't cope with stress as well as others like Steve Wozniak. Their iphone isn't doing as well as android phones. If the predictions are that in 5 years 80% of the phones will be running android and that ios (iphone's operating system) will account for less than 5%, it would give me stress as well
Yes but you have to take a holistic approach.
It's rather like the children's game Snakes and Ladders - if you Americans know what that is.
Eliminating red meat from your diet will certainly considerably diminish your risk of getting certain cancers. Overall, it will decrease your risk, yes, but if you eat too much saturated fat and sugar you will increase your risk back up!
The fact is that there are a myriad of things that can increase or decrease your cancer risk, to varying degrees.
I would certainly agree that pent up negative emotions can be a factor in the onset of cancer.
Coconut oil and avocados are both excellent. They contain high quality 'good' fats. But both are high fat/high calorie so it's wise to consume them in moderation.
We need around 10% of our daily calorie intake to come through fat, so fat is not a 'bad guy' as such, but when we consume too much fat or intake too many carbohydrates which get stored as fat, then we're heading for trouble.
Re my statement: Excessive intake of saturated fats, animal or vegetable origin, is going to be detrimental to our arterial and heart health and it's going to give rise to obesity, which significantly increases cancer risk.
I love Avocado added to a salad, along with XXVOOil as part of a dressing.
However, a large whole avocado is too much for one person - me at least.
Not that I can't eat it but because of the high fat content.
Hating to waste the extra half [I saved the seed half] I squeezed fresh lemon juice on it & saved in fridge
in a covered plastic container. Another time I didn't have fresh lemon so used Aldi's brand of REAL Lemon juice.
It worked too. Keeps at least 2 days in fridge as long as the avocado isn't too ever ripe.

wasn't there a study done on some indigenous people on some island, where they consumed high amounts of saturated fats (natural of course), and they had very low rates of heart disease.
I saw a video a couple years ago where they took some people who made it to 100 years old or beyond to see why they lived so long. They found two things that were the same in all: one, each person had an easygoing temperament and said they responded to problems in their life without getting very upset, and the second thing was they all had large cholesterol molecules.
It's sad that Steve Jobs lost his battle with cancer and died at the age of 56.
This goes to show that money won't cure cancer.
This has been tried before by Patrick Swayze, with the same outcome.
And this should also be another black eye for the cancer "industry". Chemo and radiation has been around for decades... they didn't work then and they don't work now.
