Default Edgar Cayce books??

Was looking for a kidney cleanse today, and ran across this site that sells Edward Cayce books (its curezone) I have heard alot of things about Edward Cayce, and feel his books would be a good investment.... But money is always a factor to look at.... Is this the extent of his books, or is there a larger list of them..... If you could only buy one or two of his books, which one(s) would it be... I think I am leaning towards the home remedy guide and the remedies book.... what do ya'll think????

https://curezone.com/cleanse/kidney/W...n-Seed-Tea.asp

I also would like to get some of Hulda Clarks books, does she have more then just the one I hear so much about? The one book I know of, is the cure for all diseases... are there more?

If I offend you please ignore it. Edgar Cayce was a good man but it appears much of his writings were channeled from the spirit world. Not Good: stay away.

Thumbs up

At one time - years ago - I owned & had all of the Edgar Cayce books. You might try looking on
Amazon.com for them - used - if you know the titles. Or try at your local Library...it's Free! LOL!
Personally, I enjoyed them & I do think his info/dreams/visions were helpful to many.
I donated all of mine to my local Library when I moved one of the times.

Anybody like Edgar Cayce, who had to go into a trance to get his knowledge and spoke in a different deeper voice, is under the control of an occult spirit. These sort of practices are condemned by the Bible.

The few books, of Cayce, that I've read, said nothing of influence by demons or spiritual beings. As I recall, he was able to find and read the "life book". However that happened, there was no involvement of demons or divine angels. Could have been his own subconscious mind. Who can really define how this mind or soul works. Who can really define how the soul works. The first time man even heard of a soul was from Krishna, I believe. Moses did not say so. Neither did Abraham.

Christians don't even like Harry Potter. Yet they believe in the teachings of the preachers who wrote "Left Behind", where the word, Rapture, was invented. They believe in several interpretations of Revelations, where those people/preachers interpreting such have already condemned their souls by adding or subtracting from that book, as said so in the book. They believe in the exorcism of demons. They have formed well over 38,000 denominations or sects in their search for truth. So I don't count on them advising me about the spirit world. I'll investigate truth independently.

And I think Cayce is worth reading. However, his "readings" were specific to individuals in most cases.

I have read a number of Edgar Cayces books and it is apparent that he was a very religious individual. But he had this ability to easily see what others did not. Actually we all have this ability to varying degrees, although many prefer to call it luck, intuition, a hunch, or their guarding angle, etc.

What is interesting about Cayce is the shear amount of historical data that remains from his readings. In these readings he talked about everything from Atlantics to future earth changes. However much of this was side comments from with he called his health readings. In these reading he was given the name of an individual with a health problem and then he would describe the problem and how to cure it. But what makes his readings of particular interest is the large number of individuals who wrote back and to say whether they followed his advice and how well it worked. Those that did follow his advice typically were cured of their problem.

This from a guy with no medical training. He was a photographer by trade. Today he would probably be shut down by the FDA for dispensing medical information without a license.

Nevertheless there is an association devoted to him and his work and it is continuing to do just that doing just that.

Many years ago I first heard of Edgar Cayce on the coasttocoastam radio show with Art Bell. All the shows were very interesting. Now when I hear the name, I think of Castor Oil packs, which Cayce used often for various conditions. Here's pages of related shows from c2c.

I believe in demons(you obviously dont) as at one time I was involved in the occult myself, mainly astrology and 'New Age'. Believe me they exist.

When I renounced the occult and turned to Christianity I was attacked in the spirit realm, my house was burgled, my car stolen and another car that I was driving went out of control and crashed (for no apparent reason according to eye witnesses), which I was lucky to walk away from alive. Whenever I would attempt to play any tapes warning about the occult the tapes would mysteriously tangle up which had never happened before. This sort of hastle went on for months before I was able to get clear thanks to praying Christians.

I would advise anybody to steer clear of of all forms of fortune telling, mediums and spiritist healing, ouja boards and occultic writings, they all come from the same source. You may think you are getting some secret knowledge going into the occult but in the end you are walking into a trap.

I agree with liverock. The occult is nothing to play with.

I am a Christ follower. I believe the teachings of the bible, and when the bible tells me to not only not have anything to do with something, but tells me to run from these things, I run... I choose to follow Christ. I choose to believe the word of God, and I choose to try to live the way I believe God would want me to live. Now there are many many times I fall flat on my face, and if I were to stand in front of God tonight, I would be ashamed of things I have done... but I try to be the best Christ follower I can be...and thats the best I can do....
Thank you everyone for the information.... I greatly appreciate all the info, and all the help!

Edgar Cayce went into some kind of trance, however I doubt it was caused by demons.

He was the man who said two or three almonds per day would keep cancer away.

He was right.
