I need energy!!!!!!!!
I am exhausted, constantly! I have no energy to do anything. Is it possible that my house is making me like this...sometimes it seems like when we go places for overnight that once I get there, that I have lots of energy and cant sit still...but when I am home, it seems I cant get moving long enough to get anything done..... I started taking the L acetyl carnitine(sp) with a 1000 mgs of vit c, and a b complex....the packages say take one, I upped it to two... Ive been off sodas for over three months and off coffee for a bit over two months...Im pretty much off of the processed carbs...I fall backwards everyonce in awhile, but for the most part have cut my carbs by at least 75%.... I want to use the tredmill and the recumbant bike at least once a day, but I cant seem to get the energy to get up and do it...they are in an un-a/c room, so if I cant get on them before 9, then its too hot to be working out there... I get about 7 hours of sleep a night, in pretty much total darkness (the lights from the cable box and the comp box is about it) I need energy!!! What else can I take?????

L-Carnitine and B you're already taking--those are good. You can try CoQ10, that really helped me the most I'd say in terms of energy. Also, whey powder. Another thing that helped me is taking a high potency vitamin supplement like Life Extension's Two a Day. Green tea gives me a little boost.

Thank you U&iraok.. I will give them a try.... I have a friend who makes goats milk cheese... If I drank the whey from her left over cheese making, would that be better then whey powder??? My only issue with the whey powder is the high amount of carbs and the artificial sweeteners...I cant stand the taste of them...At this point, I am willing to do most anything!

just me,
Do you have a cordless phone in your bedroom or anywhere in the house?
Digital Electronic Cordless(DECT) phones, emit a continuos radio frequency(RF) pulsing signal similar to a mobile phone 24/7, even when they are not in use. They are particularly dangerous in a bedroom with a metal spring mattress as the metal springs act as an RF aerial, pick up the RF signal and can effectively 'cook' you with RF whilst you are sleeping.
If you do have one unplug it for a few days and see if it makes a difference. RF can also radiate through into your house from a neighbour's party wall if they have a cordless phone.
I know of one woman who had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 10 years and when she got rid of the cordless phone her strength returned to normal.

You might also check if you have been fitted with a new electric 'Smart meter' . They work on exactly the same principle as a cordless phone, continuously transmitting data back to the power company and can cause the same fatigue symptoms in some people.

You will need bloodwork to determine your iron level. Also, if you don't eat sea vegetables on a regular basis, you are most likely deficient in iodine, which can cause alot of health issues including fatigue.
Another issue may be artificial sweeteners and/or msg. They can cause fatigue as well.
On a final note, yeast can rob you of energy since they overtake the good bacteria in the gut. It is this good bacteria that produce B12, and without B12 you will have no energy.
It is also possible you have mold in your house, perhaps behind a wall in the bathroom shower or as a result of a water leak or flood in the past. Some types of mold can easily kill humans..

I live in the garage apartment, so its basically like in the other room. they dont have a house phone. I keep wondering if the cable box and the tv could be causing me trouble, but when I unplug them, it eventually messes up the box...computer can be shut off, but do I need to unplug it too????? i dont even have a microwave in my room! foster daughter did get an electric air mattress, and it hums...I guess that could be part of the issue....never thought about that

I was thinking about starting up on the iodine... I never tried to use it on a regular basis, because I have thyroid issues and though that the iodine would make it worse.... I think I have been reading that wrong...apparently I need iodine??? I dont do artificial sweeteners, dont even like stevia...and try hard not to use msg....yeast could be an issue...since Im overweight...more then likely!
it could be menopause, I guess, but is there a way to get around that????
thanks for the help folks....you all are awesome!!!!
