I am not being smart....I\'d like to know why you don\'t think it would be helpful? The above shows a good website explaining it....when you are diabetic, you are suppose to take alpha lipoic acid. Life-Extension magazine\'s are marvelous...considering they are from doctors....but the top of the crop...which should teach all the other doctors with added nutritional courses.\r\n

Alpha lipoic acid is cheap (use to be real cheap until 2003 when Readers Digest did an article on it showing if wa fantatsic stuff). If that stuff is not that pricey, OK, but if it is try regular ALA. Also, are you type 1 or type 2? There is an ayurvedic supplement that works for diabetes type 2.\r\n
