Default Mercury's Role In Heart Disease and What You Can Do About It

"The study examined three forms of mercury, matching its characteristics in the environment. Each form of mercury caused changes in the behavior of cells that line the blood vessel walls and that can lead to cardiovascular diseases.

The study also suggests that chelation therapy, a process that removes metals from the body, and antioxidants both show signs of suppressing this activity and might be key to reducing the damage caused by mercury, and possibly other heavy metals.

The research was published in a recent issue of the International Journal of Toxicology."

While at the Little Rock VA, I noticed a sign that promoted a clinical trial for the study of chelation therapy. They are recruiting volunteers who have had heart attacks.

One possibly obvious way would be to reduce or cut someones intake of Tuna. Especially the canned stuff.

If I've ever seen people saying they eat it, (I don't), I tend to apply a conservative approach and say that if they do, consider the Mercury risk, and perhaps consume it once every 2-3 days.

I've heard some medial people saying 1 can a day long term, isn't a problem, but I don't think I could completely agree with that.

I thought for some time recently about why I suggest this 1 can every 2-3 days approach, and summised that some people, especially some big bodybuilders, (who may eat 2-3 cans a day blerch), clearly must be able to tolerate Mercury in some way, as it doesn't cause a severe negative reaction straight off, like say Stomach Cramps, Diarrhoea, or Vomiting.

However I considered to myself, that like a lot of things in peoples diets, Methylxanthines, Fats, Sugars etc etc, that can create addiction and withdrawal symptoms from regular ingestion, Mercury might therefore do the same, possibly from as little as 1 can a day of Tuna.

I don't know if this is actually possible, to create a synopsis where the body could create an addiction to Mercury in that way, but if so, I wouldn't like to imagine the withdrawal symptoms someone could get.

I remember both in grade school and high school playing with free mercury on my desk. The teachers handed it out. We would smash it into tiny balls and shoot them back and forth. There was mercury everywhere and everyone was into it.

Dr Klinghard had developed some extensive protocols for mercury removal using cilantro essential oil and chorella. (did I spell that right?)
I have done homeopathic heavy metals detox and there have been a couple of studies that show through hair analysis that it works too.
