I just don\'t know how you can say these things! Bactrim most certainly is an antibiotic and it can hurt you. One of the most serious effects possible is developing bacteria resistance and possible superbugs but there are also a whole slew of poisonous effects that are detailed on the following site.

the doctor said i have chronic prostatitis the acute infection has passed.

I love Bactrim, when I travel abroad (or right here at home) and I get the feeling of a critter in my gut which I know will become guardia or food poisoning I take one Bactrim and I\'m perfect within a minute, I supose I could wrestle with the critters for weeks starving them and myself (which is the other cure for critters), but this is far better for those of us who aren\'t overzealous against drugs. As you can\'t starve out prostatis, you must take a drug or risk a very bad life as it grows, Bactrim is the best option.

\nBactrim does not create an UNHAPPY environment. It disrupts cellular functions of bacteria and because of this effect one is susceptible to some very scary effects.. Donna, you really need to go get an education. Didn\'t you even read what I posted on the drug? \r\n \r\n boots i might be late on this reply but i was given cipro when i was healthy. i had two bouts of what we diint know was prostatitis. i had no libido and a high wbc when tested i also had cold genitals. they gave my pills for an std. both times it knocked it out for months. finally after waiting for my uro apt, he gave my 8 weeks cipro whn i had no issues. cant explain why. on the 8th week i noticed something and was like here we go again.... by the 9th week i was severe. totally different. pain everywhere like a flu had hit me. i was in bed for 3 weeks or the couch. i looked like death and boy i thought about it. so would i take it agagin? no way. i couldnt walk a block for weeks after. my joints were killing me and my intestines are destroyed. i only eat 2 meals a day and when i do i am stuffed. what it did i dont know... theories made the bug stronger..makes sense or gave me fungus which is my problem why it took 9 weeks to blast if i already had it makes no sense or why abx two previous times knocked what i had out. then again nothing makes sense.
