Some of the benefits of the herb Fenugreek...

Quote:
One of the advantages of combining herbal folklore with scientific research is that old remedies are often validated. Such is the case with fenugreek. Known for its culinary use in curries and stews, fenugreek has long been used to grow hair, normalize digestion and help ease respiratory disordersand as a legendary aphrodisiac.
Today, scientists have found that fenugreek can boost mens well-being by helping to increase testosterone. This spice also helps fight diabetes, a disease infamous for taking its toll on male sexual health.

I'm a 63 year old woman who's taken fenugreek for years to help my type 2 diabetes. Any problem with women taking it? I already have a strong sex drive, does fenugreek affect it in any way?

I wouldn't think so as it's not directly increasing testosterone levels.
It's also used to promote/prolong lacatation and that's a normal female activity but I guess probably not relevant to you at the moment.

However this is quite interesting and more relevant.
In vitro estrogenic activities of fenugreek Trigonella foenum graecum seeds

Vitamin D3 does a similar range of activities both increasing testosterone in men but normalising estrogen signalling in women.
