Unhappy Getting Depressed!

More Snow Again this morning! It is No longer pretty or funny; I swear, I'm getting to the point
where all I want to do is go to/stay in bed & cry.
The Only plus factor is that I'm not spending any money on groceries.
Or anything else for that matter, except for items purchased on line & delivered by mail.

Don't get too depressed EarlyBird, remember, it's just a season and it's days are numbered, soon it'll be spring and the flowers will be bloomin'. You know how time flies by anymore!

Bring some warm bright colors into your home, maybe a new plant or two, and make your indoor life more pleasant...that works for me!

It's been dry here, I actually had to water my lawn a couple of days ago because it's been dry for a long time. We haven't been hit with any 'weather' yet, so it's been sunny and mid-40's.

I agree with k2c, it will be over soon - I love snow and we're just today getting the first of the season, a few inches os far, but very blizzard-y... the dog's walk ought to be fun, at least he really likes it!

N kentucky, you have an extended warm season compared to Pittsburgh. Look at the bright side. 2 more months at the most for you, plus it will be nice later this week. I would suggest joining a gym for 2-3 months and doing tanning (short sessions twice a week )

Thumbs up

Thanks for the Snow Ice Cream links, Jim. That may be possible if I can find some clean snow
where my neighbor's dog hasn't peed on it.
Thanks to the rest of you too for your suggestions.
Spent yesterday writing checks & paying all my bills for the rest of 2010.
Then soaked a looooong time in Magnesium Flakes bath, made me an eggnog w/extra Nog &
watched TV ice skating while in bed at 4pm. Warmed up Xmas leftovers for dindin
I'll be okay!

OMG... that sounds like a perfect afternoon, actually!!

And you just reminded me I have not had eggnog yet this season - I'm going to go trudge through the snow to get some now...

on these long dark days I fill my house with lit candles as soon as the sun starts to fade... It makes me feel good. Every nook and cranny is glowing.

This winter therapy is simple and might very well help. This is a 2 minute video.

I could no way do that even if the temp gets up to 70F. Mold count is high. Wind is high, as usual. Wind is always high, as this central TX area is always on the edge of some cold/warm front moving through.

Then there is Cedar Fever. https://allergies.about.com/od/fa1/f/cedarfever.htm

2 years ago, the cedar problem nearly merited a 911 call to the fire department. I was working on my PC when I saw smoke in the trees across the street at the golf course. I thought some golfer tossed a cigarette. Do they smoke on course? I ran outside with my cell phone. Then I saw the culprit. The male mountain cedar, juniper. They throw off their pollen all at once. Looks just like smoke. Same color and thick density.

This year, I'm doing so much better. I found a homeopathic spray that contains Texas tree, mold, and ragweed. Seems to be working.

I'll keep the windows closed. Radon, carbon monoxide, stall air - I don't care.

After watching anthony bourdain yesterday morning (re-run) in puerto rico, I pulled up the travel site to go for a 3 day jaunt. But NO WAY, my God is it expensive, cannot afford that one. But I would love to be there on the basch in the AM and going to get some of those foods. I need to win the lotto, but I do not gamble.
