MMS & baking soda for brushing teeth
I went to the dental hygienist today. Today was the first time she found no microbial critters in my tooth swab. She examines the swab under a microscope and shows it on a computer monitor. I had brushed and swished with MMS for the past week.

Have you noticed any changes with your tongue? I've been using MMS on my teeth off and on for over a month now and the old skin on my tongue has been replaced with new and feels great. My dental appointment is coming up soon, but my teeth look and feel better than when I just come back from there, and the gums are the healthiest looking they've ever been.

well, this is great. I will have to tell my son about this. teenagers are not the best at keeping up the brushing, and his gums were inflamed the last time he was at the dentist.
thanks, Iggy. |

Yes, I told her it was sodium chlorite. She was impressed but had never heard of it.
No, but I don't check it often. My gums were a little sensitive.....don't know if it was the MMS or the extra brushing. On the same dental visit, I had the beginnings of a dental implant installed. The dentist cut my gum to expose my jaw bone, drilled, and implanted a titanium stud. The dentist prescribed no antibiotics and instead of giving me a special mouthwash, told me to keep using sodium chlorite (which he never heard of). He asked where I obtained it. The implant was Tuesday and today's Friday, and I've had no infection and required no post-operative pain medication. I've been swishing 2 or 3 times daily with MMS. I go back to have the stitches removed, next Wednesday. He will attach a crown to the implant, in a couple of months. My dentist is a holistic dentist and a 7thDay Adventist, schooled at Yorba Linda U. His office is in Amity, Arkansas, population 746. He has a very modern office and flies his own plane. He refuses to use silver amalgam fillings. When the legislature tried to mandate statewide fluoridation, Dr Clark testified before the legislative committee, and they voted down the bill.

Was there any burning sensation when the MMS contacts the open gum area?

Some concerns:
We activate MMS with acid. Baking soda alkalinizes. Doesn't this counter each other? Iggy, exactly how do you use the two (MMS and baking soda)? Bleach (hypochlorite) reacts strongly with metals, even capable of causing "rust" in stainless steel. Titanium is resistant to chlorine, but it might be something to consider? Resistance does not mean completely impervious. Of course, MMS is not hypochlorite, but hypochlorite can be one of the products it turns into. acid on the teeth
I would like to try MMS for the gums.. but I'm a bit worried about the acid and my teeth.
has anyone read Gerald Judd's protocol for teeth and gums? Save Your Teeth Quote:
so.. maybe the baking soda doesn't hurt (as far as the mouth)? |

OK, I finally got around to brushing my teeth with activated MMS.
Last summer I had a metal filling replaced with composite. The doc said that most other docs would do a root canal because so much of the tooth was lost. But he thought we had a chance to save it. I had had this filling since around 10 years old and it was huge in a rear molar. He did the work but things have not felt so great in my mouth since. Lots of shooting pains in my gums. Kinda strange. Couldn't really see a problem and the pain would move around. Also pressure discomfort, which I was told that was likely to happen due to the size of the filling. All in all the feeling has not been so great and it has forced me to chew on the opposite side of my mouth. Four days ago I started brushing with MMS and all the pain is gone. No shooting or feelings of inflammation that came on after the filling was done and the sensation of pressure that was anticipated and probably never go away has reduced in intensity by about 40 percent so now I'm more inclined to chew on that side again. My teeth feel as smooth as glass. Absolutely no tartar! And WOW! are my teeth white! Forget crest strips or trays or any of that stuff. This is the way to go.

Do you just use the activated MMS or do you add water to it?

Mari, you MUST add the water. You would get a chemical burn otherwise.
