Smile Benefits of Lemons

Lemons are fruits which are power-packed with nutritional value and belong to the family rutaceae. They are oval in shape and yellow when mature, green when unripened. The scent of the Lemon is refreshing and the flavor tart. Although acidic in flavor, they leave alkaline residues in the body. The Lemon tree is native to Asia, but can be found growing in many tropical and subtropical regions of the world. The trees grow up to twenty feet tall, and produce fruit year-round. Each tree can produce over 500 lemons per year.

Thanks for this article, Kind2C. I love lemons...just wish they weren't so darn expensive right now.
Not finding other safe seafood now, I've been eating lots of crab cakes & clams in the shell & use lemon
on them. Yuuum, so delish. I also like lemon on some salads.

Mmmm, crab cakes are great! I use lemon juice in hot water and honey, also mix in my coconut oil, easy way to get that in there and it doesn't taste bad either.

Lemons are fantastic, we always start the day with 1/2 a lemon in a glass of warm water.
It kick starts your metabolism and gives your liver a little cleanse. Lemons are also a great way to alkalize your system.

I generally add 1/2 tbs sugar and pinch of salt . I know i should not add sugar too much. But I love it.

Try substituting coconut palm sugar for the cane sugar
