i eat at least 1/2 of an Avocado almost every day. By puting the uneaten half in a container with lemon juice
it will keep great for the next day.
Question? Sometimes the store will have Avocados on special....if I buy a bunch of them, will they keep
better in the fridge on just on the counter?

I never put mine in the fridge until i cut them open.... I wouldnt buy too many of them at a time tho, because they tend to get over ripe fast....if you like guacamole style avocados, you could buy them, peel and mash them and then put them in the freezer... but Im not sure how the sliced ones would work

earlybird, I love avocados but fucking krogers gets them in and wants 2 bucks, then reduces them to 3 for 5 and then when they are all soggy and rotten will sell them for a buck.

I know Kroger is a stinker about them, I was speaking mainly about Aldi's for avocados.
Another thing I've stopped buying from Kroger is cantaloupe...they're always hard inside & inedible.
Even the sliced pieces & halves are lousy. Just like i no longer buy fresh pears from Aldi - crappy!
