\r\n \r\n I just use a Pur filter on my faucets, and drink filtered tap. I did drink reverse osmosis water at my work for a few years, but as you said, everything was removed, including minerals. I fill my water bottle with my water from home when I go to the gym, or on long walks. I also use the Pur filter in my camper for camping trips.

\nI\'m having company over next week, and they are BIG bottled water drinkers. I shopped at Costco today to get a case of water. Their cheapest Kirkland brand said it was purified, RO drinking water with minerals added. I decided to go with the Arrowhead brand, since it \'claimed\' to be spring water, and was a brand name. \r\n

\nMountain Valley Spring Water can be delivered to your home. It is the only company I\'ve found that will provide the water in glass containers. Apparently Madonna drinks this water and it\'s used in the White House. Fancy that. The price is a bit to swallow though at @ $20.00 per 5 gallon. I also use reverse osmosis with either colloidal minerals added or a touch of sea salt.

\r\n \r\n The RO water will remove most of the minerals along with the garbage in the water and because it\'s the minerals that give water a high ph, RO water has an acidic ph, my tap water starts out around 7.6 ph or so and ends up around 6 ph, I have been searching for a good way to restore the minerals/ph and the mineral drops help but I have come across several of these in line filters to help restore a alkaline ph....would this be as good as the drops...or better as these filters are supposed to raise the ORP value.

\r\n \r\n Tap water is horrible and nobody should drink it, not even pets. The amount of chlorine in the water depends on how far away you live from a "treatment" plant. The closer you live, the more concentrated the chlorine.

\nThe mentality behind chlorinating drinking water is in order to purify water, you must first poison it. The chlorine must be strong enough to kill bugs at the outermost distance from the treatment plant. Therefore, if you live close to the plant you are getting a double dose of chlorine, which really isn\'t chlorine at all... its more like toxic substances that are byproducts of aluminum smelting.

\nKeep this in mind since the water you drink ends up in every cell in the body.\r\n

\nIt is like going to South America, drinking the water there and getting sick. The locals can drink it because they are accustomed to the bacteria and whatever else is in the local water. But a foreigner who drinks the water there would get sick.
