Default Bronchiectasis

This is what I have, mine is caused by a childhood illness according to the specialist that did the ct scan, it can only be diagnosed by a ct scan. I am fortunate that mine is not very serious at this stage.
Atelectasis is a similar thing, and can be caused by operations, among other things.

Ozzie, so do you think it is caused by scarring or what?

Do you have asthma?

In my experience atelectasis is caused by repeated infections and asthma which leads to an energetic collapse of the tissues in the lungs...

Yes Arrowwind I believe that atelectasis can be caused by much the same things as Bronchiectasis, and in my case my airway has colapsed slightly,I do not have Asthma.
I try to eat the things that cause the least mucus and try to avoid mouldy areas, a lot of my forum friends spend a lot of time in hospital with their Bronch and most of them are taking antibiotics daily, which I will avoid like the plague, I would rather try something natural like coloidal silver first.
