Allergies in children 7.5x higher than those whose mothers took fish oil.
Exzema was 3x higher.
Note the positive spin on how I reported this- if it had been a drug, it would have been reported this way. Instead they said 16% and 13% lower. They are using a numerical difference- the least dramatic way they could report it. 2% allergies vs 15% on placebo. That's a HUGH difference! Reduced by almost 90% of the 15%. A bit of fish oil basically eliminates allergies!!! What would a little more do? Maybe some vit D? (Yet they reported 15-2=13% drop- unusual way to report it) Eczema went from 24 to 8%. Huge drop.
I've seen them report a drop in heart disease from something like 2% to 1% as a 50% reduction on statins. Insignificant really.
