Question ?Mixing MMS for Pets

I have an 11 yr. old cat who may have IBD. She has already gone thru a course of 14 day antibiotics. I will cut to the chase of my question...
After activating one drop MMS, what is the LEAST amount of water that can be added without having adverse reactions? I have done hours of Web- searching but no where can I find a specific answer to my question...it always says add to a little water. What is a little? I have been adding one tablespoon + 1 teaspoon to the drop and using a baby medicine syringe to squirt down her throat. It takes sooooo long though, and much effort. If I could safely lower the liquid even a little more, I could give it to her more often. Anyone know the answer? A milllion thanks!

Default wrap the cat up in a towel

If the cat is fussing too much to handle wrap the cat up in a towel.

Lay a bath towel on the floor, place the cat in the middle of the towel far enough back to fold the long edge over its front legs. Pull side of the towel over the cat one way, other side over the other way and tuck underneath the cat. Make sure the towel is big enough to cover the back feet too, and the tail is hanging out loose. Put the cat on your lap raising one of your knees up high. If you can hold eye contact and talk and smile, sometimes they'll even open their mouth for you.

I can't find info on the least amount of water either...

Right now I am giving 8.3 ml (cc) per drop.

My cat has fatal Wet FIP. A message someone posted on another board said she got her Dry FIP cat up to 3 drops but didn't mention how much water with the dose. 25 ml is way too much water to be unnecessarily unforcing my cat to drink over and over all day. I am now over 1 drop and aiming for 3 so it's critical to know.

If anyone who knows the answer to what the least amount of water necessary...

Please take the time to post a message somewhere.

many, many people would be so grateful, and you will likely be saving many lives.

thank you

I just do not activate it at all when giving it to animals. The stomach acid will activate it enough to do the job.

It is far easier, and you can get larger doses without a problem. Just put the unactivated Sodium Chlorite in the water dish.

Thank you! Wow! You respoded so fast!

If its not activated he can handle a stronger dose than if its activated?

Our cat is at the beginning stages of organ failure from FIP so he has days or weeks left.
I need to get as strong as doses into him as soon as possible without it making him sick.

We also have other cats who share the water and we haven't given them any mms yet, and I couldn't monitor how much water this cat is drinking. It would break his heart to be seperated from the rest of the cats.

Perhaps I will try giving him an extra drop unactivated with 1/2 ml of water.
Or perhaps I will activate the the 1 3/4 drop dose he's at now with 1/2 ml of water.

Should have completely read the book.
Since I first posted I found this:

from page 5 of

Six proven ways to move MMS into your body.

1. Drink it. Swallow activated MMS with any amount of water or juice flavoring added. This is the most common method. Adding water or limited juice to the mix after the three minute wait enables you to drink the mixture. The amount of water matters very little provided that you drink it all - typically one half to a full glass of water. If you drink the entire amount you will get all of the MMS benefit. Diluted little or much it will still do the same cleansing within in your body.

You are so kind, thanks for replying!

Just before I saw your message I read the answer in Jim Humbles book. "Swallow activated MMS with any amount of water or juice flavoring added." "The amount of water matters very little provided that you drink it all - typically one half to a full glass of water."

Duh...I should have thoroughly read the book!

If a cat is given it unactivated he can tolerate a larger amount than if it was activated first? If given to him unactivated the stomach acid will activate it equally as much?

We have other cats that share the water and sick cat doesn't want to be separated. The Wet FIP is advanced so I need to work asap towards the maximum mms he can handle.

I wrote another message but it must have had a flagged word as it is on hold to be approved by a moderator.

I think you have to assume that the unactivated amount is going to be close to the same potency as activated MMS, but there is no way of knowing for certain.

It is all trial and error.

Since I started giving it to him unactivated he stopped eating on his own so I am hand feeding him as much (which is little) as he will take.

He had gotten to 1 3/4 drops activated when he was eating well, and has now reached his limit taking max 2.0 unactivated on a fairly empty belly. The unactivated must be much easier on his stomache (as you said).

When I start treating the other cats I can probably figure out if activated and unactivated are close to equally effective.

Thanks for helping.

Nikki and Shinnie (the kitten).
