Yeah, I heard that too - said it's the same area of Aussie that got the last bad flooding weather.

I heard it hit as a 5 but quickly downgraded to a 1, thank god! but still have heard a good news report

Got this link from a guy who was in the area. He saying apparently only one death so far from the storm.
Seems the person was running a portable generator inside a closed room

that he was in and he was overcome by the exhaust.
