Does anyone know a good ranch dressing recipe?

I've tried some online, but they didn't taste good.

I started out making the mayoinise (using an egg and oil...safflower expeller pressed). Still didn't taste good. I used buttermilk as well.

Its always missing something. Never as good as the homemade ranch I eat in restaurants.

I think you're on the right track by using buttermilk.

Usually there's a tad of sugar, garlic & vinegar in the mix. This should be fun to find the perfect recipe!
