\nI need to add some more information. I have a genetic disorder, Familial Adenomatous Polyposis(FAP for short)which can cause dental problems. The diagnosis of Mid Face Pain was made by the surgeon who removed my nasal tumor in 2009, yes an ENT specialist! Laughable I know!
\nRegarding the root canal. My face was swelling before the root canal work, I think the dentist did it out of desperation on account of all my dental infections! But I will be using colloidal silver religiously from now on - to be honest I don\'t use it enough!

\nIn June and July(2012)I suffered with two dental infections(June - right side, July - left side) and was treated with anti-biotics. A week after seeing my dentist for a review on the July episode the problem tooth kicked off again, add to this the gum where a tooth has been extracted became sore; so I decided to treat this myself with home made colloidal silver, taking 6x5ml a day - after three days the tooth settled down.
\nA week has passed and the tooth and surrounding area is beginning to trouble me again, so I am once again upping my CS intake. I\'ll monitor the tooth over the weekend, and make an appointment to see the dentist, here\'s why:-

\nI rang up the Genetics Department(I have Familial Adenomatous Polyposis)and told them of my dental/jaw problems which have become progressively worse since I had a nasal tumor removed in 2009. A letter arrived today which explains to the dentist about my FAP, because the dentist must refer me to the Maxillofacial Surgeon. I am not being racist and I do like my dentist, but their is a language barrier! When I have told them about my FAP I am returned with a blank face! So this letter will hopefully do the trick! I need a Maxillofacial Scan! In other parts of the UK patients with FAP get a Maxillofacial Scan without asking - not where I live; its become a D-I-Y NHS, which is about to get even worse!

\nThe letter says I have jaw cysts, and that I am at risk of getting dentiginous cysts and osteomata. It says I need to be referred to the above specialist. This should do the trick! If not, then I will give up!

\nThe EN&T Specialist who diagnosed me with "mid face pain" is CLUELESS - and he is aware that I have FAP! My doctor has been useless, telling me to see my dentist for the referral. I explain to him about the language barrier, but he ignores this! Maybe I should go to an English speaking dentist, and see if this rectifies matters? But in the UK finding a decent dentist is getting much harder. Mind you all areas of health via the orthodox avenues are becoming farcical! \nI now have a chest infection and have gone partially deaf! I saw the doctor over this, he checked my ears as I thought I\'d need my ears syringing. However he said my ears were fine! He says the deafness may be due to an infection. I took the anti biotics and still have the infection! Back to see the doctor tomorrow.
\nMy face still feels like its in a vice 24/7, and I get pain in my teeth which are not toothache, also suffer with watery eyes and headaches.

Regarding the CS, since I have upped my daily intake of CS I have not suffered with any dental problems; when I ease off I do notice that it feels like another infection is about to start, so I up the CS and avoid the infection.

\nMy dental problems I believe are connected with my FAP. I am awaiting a Jawbone Scan in November. It will reveal whether I have any cysts or bone tumors, which can affect FAP sufferers. What I have noticed is that all these problems have come to the surface since my 2009 nasal tumor was removed. The fact that the tumor was near the top of the nose(right nostril)which isn\'t far from the brain did/does worry me.

\nlast year my left ear had a terrible and painful infection, which was treated by Ear Specialist Nurses. Right ear infection went after visiting them. They told me that anti-biotics would not treat an ear infection - never knew that, they applied an internal anti-biotic dressing.

\nAND now my right ear has an infection! The only time I had trouble with my ears was around age 6 - 8, when I would get regular boils in my ears. So for 44 yrs I\'ve been free of ear problems - apart from getting my ears syringed regularly due to excessive wax.

\r\n \r\n The reason that your tooth pain returns after you stop the CS is because it has not cured the infection. MMS may be a better choice. You should not need to keep on an antimicrobial forever. You may also need to do something to keep inflammation down and serrapeptase may help with that.. 80,000 IU twice a day.

\nYou could also consider seeing an ozone therapist. They do have them in the UK. Some ozone in the ears could do you wonders as it will inflitrate your whole head, help with your sinus, your respiratory etc. But MMS is the low cost way, done diligently for a period of time. this is the page that has all the mms protocols and they probably developed new ways of taking it since you used it a couple of years ago. Lower dosages more frequently through the day. Look for protocol 1000+ on this page with the DMSO that will help it to get into the bone areas. You can also apply the mms and dmso topically over the acute areas of infection and dmso can be used in a mouth rinse also. But you really need the mms systemically for you are under duress systemically.

Only after she did CS by IV did she cure. Thats a lot of time and money. MMS is more efficient.

From everything I\'ve heard, increasing your daily intake of vitamin D3 and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) will help to avoid/treat flu symptoms. I take around 5,000 IU of D3 and 3-4,000 mg of C when I feel the threat of flu in winter.

\nour pooch was at the vets to have dental work done yesterday - and due to too many emergencies at the vets missed out and will have to return! The irony was that one of my teeth fell out yesterday!!! The tooth in question had root canal work done in January 2012, and has always wobbled! This time its the back tooth, upper set on the right hand side; and normally what happens is my face swells right out, as it did when I suffered an ear infection in December of 2012. My ears are OK apart from needing syringing which happened tonight and they are now fine, the last time my face swelled up badly was in December but this was after having my ears syringed!

ksc, - the swelling and tooth problem has gone! Ten days of Celtic Sea Salt mouth washes plus washes three times daily ; and hey - 1 1/2 pints CS a day(plus spraying CS in my mouth and on problem area externally -Minced Garlic on affected tooth 2-3 times daily presto all cured and am able to eat all my remaining teeth!

\nI know what to do if similar problems arise! Also found out that peppermint teas are good for fighting the bacteria in your mouth! Oh yes, and a warm water mouthwash with some tumeric helps the gums!

\nMy tooth is infected again!
\n
\nThere is a swelling above the tooth again(quite a large swelling at the very top of my gum - my face is OK thus far!), so today I have upped my intake of Colloidal Silver and begun eating raw onion again, and leaving some on the affected tooth. Tomorrow I will begin my garlic regimen and see how I progress over the next few days.

\nThen a visit to the dentist for an x-ray of the problem tooth, and I think it\'ll end up being extracted - which will make it the 6th extraction of 2013! At this rate I\'ll be blending my food!!!

\nDiet wise I eat no chocolate at all. I am now vegan and feel tons better! The dental issues kicked in after the removal of a tumor from my nose in 2009, I also have problems with my hearing(itchy ears and infections too), I may need a hearing test! And I\'m in my early 50\'s!!!

Brilliant idea k2c - thanks! I\'ve been aware of oil pulling, and have read an article in the Nexus Magazine, so I will be trying this as I have bought some Virgin Coconut Oil. So with all these \'coincidences\' it is pointing me towards oil pulling!!!

\nMy morning though is in the afternoon, well 12noon(ish) due to my being kept awake through the night due to my health needs! Good job I\'ve always been a night owl!!!

\r\n \r\n I have been free from dental infections for six months and I give thanks to my toothpaste - a home made blend made by my beautiful wife! It has coconut oil and bicarb plus a few other natural ingredients. I am overjoyed not to be a regular at the dentist!

For almost 2 yrs I have suffered with teeth problems(infections) and facial swelling(right side). In December of 2011 I had root canal work done, this followed a series of dental infections(3).
My teeth are sore most of the time, and also feel "weird"! Sometimes it hurts when I eat biscuits(or anything hard), sometimes its OK. Its always the right side of my face which swells. The teeth that are causing me a problem are on the left side!
Today I once again suffered with my face swelling on the right side, this was followed by a high temperature. My wife was so worried she rang for an ambulance, and after 6 hrs at A&E I am none the wiser as why this occurs! They said it may be due to an allergy, something I've eaten - I don't think it is! I have recently been diagnosed with "mid face pain", which I've never heard of! Are they clutching at straws because it feels like it!
Can anyone shed any light on this?! I'd be most greatful! Today's episode was the worst I've had, I felt really ill! I was also aching all over, had headaches on the right side(!!!), and it was painful when trying to eat - my jaw was sore!
