The worst attack on us are the credit card companies. They want to give credit cards to college students who don't even have a job yet so they can put them deep into debt before they even make any money. The strategy of the credit card companies is to make you pay them monthly payments forever. They want to make you their beyotch and keep you that way forever.
Along that same line I just paid my Sprint bill. In big bold numbers I was told how much I was required to send. Of course if you looked closely that was the minimum amount due, not the actual amount due.
But that is OK because next month they would happily tack on the interest due for not paying the full amount. I wonder how may get suckered into that scam before they realize it.

I think many fall into the trap of believing obama when he says only the rich will be paying higher rates. However some are starting to realize that that�s not quite true.
For many I believe that they only look at the numbers on the face of their pay check as being there real income because those are the one that they can actually spend.
Those other numbers on the check stub might just as well be imaginary numbers because they cannot be spent and the individual has no control of them.
But here is a thought to limit government spending. Government looks to receiving this income tax withholding on a regular basis. Now what would happen if everyone decided to tell their employer not to take out any withholding tax. That is your right. Of course you are still responsible for those tax dollars at the end of the year, but if every week you put those dollars into your own special tax saving account you would have the money plus even a few extra dollars in interest.
But, but, but our illustrious politicians would be deprived of that continual trickle of money coming in and they might actually here to start doing some real budgeting. Maybe even cut spending.

The Four Horsemen of Banking (Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Wells Fargo) own the Four Horsemen of Oil (Exxon Mobil, Royal Dutch/Shell, BP Amoco and Chevron Texaco); in tandem with Deutsche Bank, BNP, Barclays and other European old money behemoths. But their monopoly over the global economy does not end at the edge of the oil patch.
According to company 10K filings to the SEC, the Four Horsemen of Banking are among the top ten stock holders of virtually every Fortune 500 corporation.[1]
So who then are the stockholders in these money center banks?
This information is guarded much more closely. My queries to bank regulatory agencies regarding stock ownership in the top 25 US bank holding companies were given Freedom of Information Act status, before being denied on “national security” grounds. This is rather ironic, since many of the bank’s stockholders reside in Europe.

Mr. Thomas D. Schauf, worked up his 30 page report, to clear up questions he had received about the Federal Reserve Bank (FED). Mr. Schauf spent a great deal of time researching the FED. (Note: We reduced this 30 page report to 16 pages, to make it more enjoyable. We reduced the number of endorsements, and none of the essential facts have been altered. We did use #12 character size from #16.) The resulting, shocking and revealing conclusions are as follows. THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK IS A PRIVATE COMPANY. Article 1, Section 8 of our Constitution states that Congress shall have the power to coin money and regulate the value, thereof. Today, however, the FED, which is a privately, owned company, controls and profits from coining (printing) money through the treasury, and regulating its value. The FED began with approximately 300 people, or banks, that became owners (stockholders purchasing stock at $100 per share - stock is not publicly traded), in the Federal Reserve Banking System. They make up an international banking cartel, of wealth, beyond comparison (Reference 1, 14). The FED banking system collects billions of dollars (Reference 8, 17), in interest (usury), annually, and distributes the profits to its shareholders. The Congress gave the FED the right to print money, (through the treasury), at no usury to the FED. The FED creates money from nothing, and loans it back to us, through banks, and charges usury on our currency. The FED also buys government debt, with money printed on a printing press, and charges, U.S. taxpayers, usury. Many Congressmen and Presidents say, this is fraud (Reference 1,2,3,5,17). (Note: References are listed on page 14 of this report.) Who actually owns the Federal Reserve Central Banks? The ownership of the 12 Central Banks, a very well kept secret, has been revealed:

I agree, but its easy to get hooked during the good times, problem comes when things slow down, its harder to make the payments and the card companies then put up their rates. I was stuck for a couple of years, but gradually cleared them all off.
Debt will destroy you and there is no such thing as good debt. They have been pimping CCs to college students for 25 yrs, the problem is was in the late 90s thay had huge loan limits. I have one freind who makes 110-120k and is in excessive CC debt.
