\r\n \r\n Cholesterol is the band aid used by your body to stop an artery from leaking because of oxidative damage.
\n The scientific community has started to wake up and see the cause is not cholesterol.
\n To jump on calcium is just as stupid if there is calcium in the blood it came from the bones and teeth. If you see a lot of calcium in the blood it is an indication of calcium efficiency. If they is a way to miss read information leave it up to the medical system.
\n High blood pressure can be caused by two things; one low calcium or to problems of circulation of blood in the kidneys.
\n The medical system always stayed away from explaining that cholesterol build up only happens in arteries and not veins and the both have the same cholesterol.\r\n

This is why cardiologists always want their patients on calcium channel blockers, like Norvasc (amlodipine). Just ask most people on blood pressure meds.

\r\nInflammation is what causes the immune system to call for cholesterol (from the liver). Too much cholesterol is bad, especially when it oxidizes. So the way to stop it from happening in the first place is to solve the inflammation problem.\r\n

\r\n \r\n A few people I know personally that had high blood pressure used more calcium and now their blood pressure is normal. I am one of the people who had high blood pressure. Now my pressure is 110/70\r\n

The new paradigm for what causes coronary arteries, which supply the heart with oxygenated blood, to clog up and result in heart attacks is calcification. Just on cursory analysis, it has never seemed plausible that soft and waxy cholesterol, produced naturally by the liver throughout life, would be the cause of coronary artery disease. In fact, it just may be a marker rather than a cause of what really promotes mortal heart attacks � artery stiffening calcifications.
