Coconut Oil taken by the tablespoon may help with the constipation. If it does not, it is antibacterial and may help with the UC.
I would not get too hung up on the label of UC. Even the more specific Crohn's diagnosis I have is not very specific. It still is a collection of similar symptoms with an unspecified cause. Treatments that work for one person, often do not work for all.
Several people with Crohn's specifically have used MMS for their condition. It worked extremely well for me, and some others as well. There have been at least two people that have not improved using it. These likely are not the same disease in cause, as the treatment is so basic, it is impossible for it not to have the same effect. The effect did not bring relief.
One person I am in contact with is exploring the role of sticky blood in the disease, and it does play some role, but neither of us are sure how much. I know I have had this condition in the past, but I am not sure how much role it has in my disease.
As an experiment, I am using Nattokinase to further thin my blood. I already take Krill Oil, Ginger and Turmeric in minimal doses which also thin the blood to a degree.
I am not symptomatic, so I do not expect to be able to gather much from this experiment, but I do think the idea has some merit. We already know that blood clots and thick blood in general often afflicts those with Crohn's and UC in general.
Just some ideas to ponder.
