Question Question about 1964 coinage

I've been going thru old coinage today; are the 1964 coins considered in the
junk silver catagory or is it PRE 1964 only? In other words, 1993 and older?
Thanks Guys/Gals

Quarters, dimes, half dollars from 1964 and before are all 90% silver. After 64 they are not (except half dollars, I just looked it up. 65-1970 kennedy halfs are 40% silver).

Thanks Saved. Where do you go to look this info up?
Do you have a link? If so, I'd like to pass it on to my kids.

Thanks, Liverock. Prices on both Gold and Silver are sky rocketing - UP
and Away. A bit too high for buying right now. Luckily I bought some
at lower prices.
